Kendall,

Tessa reminds me of my father it's so strange. My father when he got mad or was questioning something that we were telling him would raise his right eyebrow. I can't do, none of my other children can do it. But my sweet Tessa can! And she has been doing for quite a few months. Everytime I see her raise up that eyebrow, I think of my father. Strange the things we remember isn't it? I just thought I'd share that.

Love & hugs,

Jo-Ann

Jo-Ann,As the years pass it does get easier, but I think there I will always feel an emptiness. It's not such a sharp pain anymore, but more of a dull ache. It makes me feel good that my boys both look like my dad and I know he would have gotten a big kick out of both of them. Ross' personality is a lot like my dad's. My older neice and nephews have a lot of memories of my dad so they talk about him a lot and share their stories with Ross (and now Matt), so they will "know" him through them (and Me of course). And, he is taking care of my angel Christian, just as your dad is taking care of Jonah and all of your angels :)!Take CareKendall> Kendall,> > I do the exact same thing whenever I see something I know my Dad would like. Every year he use to come to Toronto for the big car show that they have in February. And when I hear the announcement on the radio or tv, I think "good, Dad will be coming up soon". How quickly reality hits home. And Father's Day will never be the same. So when does this get easier? Hugs!!!!!!!> > Love,> Jo-Ann> >

Jo-Ann,

That's really neat that you have such a tangible reminder of your dad

in Tessa. My dad was an incredibly intelligent (and stubborn ;)!) man

and you could never convince him that he was wrong about certain

things (somewhat annoying buy in an endearing way - he wasn't

obnoxious) and Ross has that same trait. He thinks he knows

everything ;)!
