Guest guest
, I agree! I am so happy that I’m probably having a girl. I somehow just knew it would be a little girl to comfort me after my loss. I hope I can be a good mother! Janice 20 wks -----Original Message----- From: kdjohio@... I always had to know what I had in there! It made things easy for me, since I'm a major planner. I can't wait for you to find out and let us know! Guest guest
I know, it is so cool that you, AmyR and me are in the same boat at the same time. It’s like having sisters w/o having to share our clothes. We are so lucky! Janice -----Original Message-----  Get more from the Web. Guest guest
Janice, I am sure you and your daughter will share a special bond.....it is nice that you want that for your daughter since you didn't really have it!!!! I am very happy for you!! I bet you will start shopping soon for her!!! susan Thank you for all your warm wishes! I am so ecstatic now. My mom and I have never been close so I’m looking forward to having a daughter so I can do all the things my mom didn’t have time to do with me, like talk about AF, buy the first bra, get her primped for the prom, etc. Janice 20 wks
Guest guest
Janice We bought the pack and play w/bassinet. We are going to use it as a bassinet. It will also be great when we go to visit my in-laws. We also got the car seat that snaps into the stroller. We just finished our breast feeding class. The instructor told us that your milk starts at like skim then to 1% and up in a feeding. That must have been what your hairdresser meant. I never knew that before the class. We were told to breast feed for about 15 minutes on each side. Pam 36 weeks
Guest guest
Pam, I’ve read that, that you should do 10 to 15 min on each side. I don’t know how this woman stood it between feedings. My breasts already hurt. I can’t imagine how they’ll feel when they are full of milk. She said your body just gets accustomed to whatever you do. I’ll have to look into the carseat/stroller again. I thought it looked handy in that you wouldn’t have to move the baby if she was asleep and the car seat has a handle so you can just carry them from the car to wherever you are going. Guest guest
Janice, I might be wrong but I thought the stroller we got was also for a toddler, I will have to double check that. Yeah, I need to finish with my registry soon, I have been online there and it is very convenient. It is kind of scary....if we really think about it, we don't have alot of time left. We really need to start working on cleaning out our future nursery, which is a spare bedroom/computer room right now. I try not to think that far ahead or the l & d part starts to really scare me. I know they are not always 100% when they tell you the sex but I don't know, I haven't heard many stories myself where they have been wrong!! I guess it is a good idea to keep those receipts though!! lol! Saturday we were looking around in JCPennys (that is where I got my Winnie-the-Pooh bedding) and I did think for a moment it would of been nice to know if it was a boy or a girl, I saw some really cute outfits.....oh well, it was only a moment thought. Take care. RE: , I registered for a stroller/car seat as well. Now I’m wondering if I can use the stroller more than 6 months. I need to look at it again. I finished my registering on line with Babies R Us. I was able to do it at work. I’ve seen the playpens that you are talking about. How convenient! I know, I can’t believe we are almost in our third trimester. Kind of scary huh? I haven’t bought anymore outfits, but I did register for pink bedding. I know that’s kind of risky, but I’ll keep the receipts and let the baby sleep in the playpen/bassinet until I can get some blue bedding if it turns out to be a boy. I guess I’ll take a walk on the wild side here and risk it. Janice
