This I do not consider a healthy food, that is for sure, due to trans fat,

and do not eat it on regular basis, but it does help in recipes. I think it was

that gave us a recipe with Cool Whip, Cottage Cheese and maybe jello,

not sure. It should be in our files, and that recipe has saved me big time when

I had a craving.

I think that since the majority of our diet is healthy on SBD, if we

need the occasional treat to keep us going and so that we don't give

up, it's okay. I had been eating jello with cool whip for my evening

treat for awhile, then switched to lowfat pudding. After 6 months on

SBD, I started to buy FF/SF ice cream and the SBD cookies. In the

evening, I might have either 2 SBD cookies or 1/2 cup FF/SF ice cream.

I don't have both. Just one or the other. I can't have the cookies

every night or it would bother my asthma (wheat allergy), but if I

have them a few times a week, I'm okay.

Some nights, I don't have a sweet treat at all. I'll have cheese or

turkey slices or roasted beans or pumpkin seeds. But,when I'm in a

sweet mood, I'll have a sweet treat. I figure I'm going to be eating

like this for the rest of my life, so I have to make it bearable by

having something I enjoy at the end of the day.
