Guest guest
My wife was found to have sig colon cancer in 2003. They removed the entire colon and did not use an ostomy. 2 weeks later they had to as everything gave way. In march 2004 they reversed the ileostomy and found the cancer was now on her liver, ovaries, and lymph nodes. They removed part of teh liver, most of the female organs and the lymph nodes showing on the pet scan Terri now 35 and getting ready to start chemo for a 2nd time on jan 3rd. She now has a port in so that will be easier to take if there is such a thing. She will be a folfox girl this time, and not just the 5FU. her pet discovery scan (pet/cat) is next friday so we will see what is there after 3 months. we have a 12 and 8 year our girls at the home who have seen their mother change. We take everyday at a time and are thankful when the chemo does not slam her. I just wanted to say I hope that everyone here knows they are not alone. We share the same thing, a very terrible part in our lives. Now I don't have it but it has felt like I have. may everyone have a wonderful year.
