Guest guest
glad to hear about getting the chemo today...I know how he feels about losing a fellow cancer buddy...I have lost 3 in the last month at my oncologist office where we take chemo..it is so hard...but they would want us to remember them and keep fighting...good luck with the test and tell him to think positive!! hugs, kaye Phil's update for Tues. Nov.16 'Twas back on chemo today. YIPPEE! Counts are up somewhat but still not in the normal range. Phil had to have an IV of Iron to attempt to help his body produce more red cells and absorb it better than the pills. <sigh> An Endoscopy is scheduled for Wednesday to check for internal bleeding. If that's clean it is up the other end (colonoscopy) probably after Thanksgiving. Same reason. The poor guy! I am sure this has to sound worse than it in fact is (at least for now). I just can't worry until they tell me too. So I'm trying not to think of any major problems from all this. The Dr. seems fairly optimistic, but Phil seems kind of worried since things have been changing. In the meantime a dear friend and fellow colon cancer patient died yesterday and that has Phil down and thinking about his own situation. Please say an extra prayer for him. I'll be in touch when we know more tomorrow. God bless and thanks for your thoughts and prayers Narice " As long as I know the WHO I can bear any HOW even though I don't know WHY " (Commentary on Job from Dialogue in Despair)

Guest guest
Narice, I do pray for some good news for all here and will send out an extra prayer for Phil this day. Mom got down when her friend and fellow colon cancer patient died last July. I think that is a normal response both as a friend and fellow sufferer. Sharon > 'Twas back on chemo today.
