Thin hair, etc

Dear Larry--if Janet isn't on Irinotecan (CPT-11) her hair may just

thin, not drop out altogether. I 'survived' oxaliplatin but two

months into CPT-11 started coming out and I panicked. Got a wig but

didn't wear it seriously for months. Now I'm finally used to it and

I think cold weather a factor--like wearing a nice warm hat. Often a

town will have a hairdresser who will restyle wigs that have been

donated.

Things get to be less important as time goes on too, but it is a

wrench to lose hair. (On top of being sick-feeling, in pain.)
