Guest guest
You're fine. But, let me ask you something. Are you hoping this list will just listen? sympathize and be gently encouraging? or give you a firm kick in the behind to get you on the right track? I don't think you're going to succeed until you can conquer two solid weeks of this diet. Maybe it's too hard for you right now and you should just try to give up bread for a week, but not really go on the SBD until you're more ready. If you are really ready to fully commit, then go for it. ie
Guest guest
Trish, I am new to this list and haven't started SBD yet. I'm still reading the book. I just wanted to say to you that I completely understand where you are coming from. You sound just like me. I'm even having a hard time getting myself to keep reading the book because once I'm done I will need to begin and once I begin this woe I'm afraid of failing AGAIN. If you don't start you can't fail. Of course you also can't succeed. I can't even count the times I've lost around 15 pounds only to gain it all back. It is taking a lot of talking to myself to keep me trying. Some days are better than others. I'll be watching for how your doing. When I get started I'll write again and hopefully the support from the people here will get us through it. Good luck. Shelli forgive me To all the group here: I don't want to sound like I am whining.
