So I guess my subconcious is feeling pretty

guilty about the lack of time I've had lately to be a good listmember ;-(

The charts look wonderful and you are doing just fine! Just because you are quiet, doesn't mean you aren't a good listmember. You do a lot behind the scenes!

The regular weekly weightloss chart is up - it has 2 weeks worth of reports

on it because I forgot to post it last week :-(.

The spring challenge charts can be found at:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Atkins_Support_List/files/2-SpringChallenge/

I apologize for not posting the charts last week and for being kind of quiet

on the list - I had a dream last night and all the low carb listowners were

rating how 'good' their listmembers were and Terry only gave me a 2/10 - I

didn't score well on welcoming people to the list and cheerleading and

posting the chart on time. So I guess my subconcious is feeling pretty

guilty about the lack of time I've had lately to be a good listmember ;-(

I've been struggling the last couple of weeks with keeping low carb let

alone on my safe foods list. It sort of came to a head on Saturday when I

went to get pizza for the family for working hard in the garden and stood

there realizing there wasn't a single thing I could eat that fit both

low-carb and 'non-intolerance' food. I ordered a donair (gyro) so that I

could pick out the meat, knowing that it would probably make me swell. My

hubby didn't want me to eat it which got me both fiesty and depressed and I

soon started to bawl because I just wanted to eat 'normally'. He stopped

doing low-carb last Fall and it didn't seem 'fair' that he should be able to

eat pizza and I couldn't (and I don't even really like pizza - it was the

principle of the thing). He took me to the bathroom and stepped on the

scales and showed me that he's now only 3 pounds less than when he started

(it took him a little over a year to lose 58 pounds) and that the reason he

kept riding me was because he didn't want me to end up like he has.

so I didn't have my donair meat and despite numerous " f*ck you safe foods

and low carb! " mini-rebellions last week, I managed to end up this Monday

2.5 pounds less than last Monday, although still 6 pounds above my lowest

weight in March.

anyways... this journey can be a winding one sometimes, but someday I'll

reach my destination :-)

Kirstie,

I think you are doing great! You had a rough couple of weeks, but you weigh

less. I had a rough weekend and gained two pounds. I wish someone would

have taken me to the scale to show me what happens when you go back to

eating more normally. I just can't seem to get in the groove and stay

there, I can't imagine having to deal with that and a limited safe foods

list too! You are doing just great and you are far more helpful and

welcoming than me too. I struggle just to read everything lately, let alone

contribute. Soon though, very soon.

Kirstie,

Well, I'm sorry you dreamed you got a low grade. Actually, in reality, I'd give you a 20 out of a possible 10!

Kirstie,

I sort my emails by subject so I can read a whole thread at once after work...

it makes it easier to

track things. So, here I am at the w's...

I felt so sad when I read your email. You encourage so many people, including

me. Noone can do it

all, all the time. That's why they have more than one moderator!

You do a great job and I'm glad you are here.

I'm in a period of change in my life - the end of one school term and the

start of another - I always have really vivid dreams until classes start

again and I sort out what the term will be like. Last term I dreamt that my

hubby had put bats in my hair! ;-)

Kirstie

who would rather be a 20 than a 10... unless we're talking sizes

no sad Lynn! I thought it was funny!!!

But I do like doing things well and although I'm not a moderator here, this

list is my home and I've been so busy lately that I've just been mostly

skimming emails and I would hate to think that I'm not being as welcoming as

those that first welcomed me here. What I've missed most was the

interaction as people have reported their weights - hopefully I'll be able

to answer back more until next term heats up again :-)

Kirstie

ps - I do that thread thing too - saves on answering the same question that

has already been answered 12 times

ok, if you say so... I was remembering when I was in school and never

had enough time for the things I thought were important.

that thread thing helps a lot doesn't it. I didn't like coming across

emails where they had completely cut out everything referencing the

email and not having ANY idea of what they were talking about!

sorting by thread solves it.
