Guest guest
I don't know if any of you remember my story, so here's a little info about myself; I had a live birth in 95. Had a 2nd trimester miscarriage and underwent a D & C for retained products. I went on to have 11 unexplained early miscarriages. Last July I had a laparoscopy and laparotomy for a tubal pregnancy, infection and adominal cavity adhesions. I learnt that the tube that was removed was blocked, I have uterine scarring and my remaining tube looked blocked, but according to a HSG the tube looked fine - I don't quite understand this? I am not sure of the severity of my uterine scarring or where it is, the nurse did mention that it was at the top near the entrance to my tubes. My Gynae said that I will probably need IVF or take aspirin to try to maintain a pregnancy, but I am very concerned about the scarring. I am not sure if the scarring had caused my miscarriages or whether all the pregnancies never actually made it to my uterus. I had a HSG on Feb 5th to look at my tube. I read that sometimes the dye can dislodge tissue that is obstructing the tubes, but this is only temporary and lasts for 2 months. I decided to TTC 9 days ago because I had a feeling that I was ovulating. I now regret this rash decision and am very worried. I know that it is very difficult for me to fall pregnant with only one tube and the other probably damaged, but I am noticing a nagging pain in my tube, I am feeling sick in the mornings and I have sore breasts. I cannot believe how stupid I have been, I should had waited until my follow-up appointment with the Gynae in April. B (UK)
