Guest guest
Tomorrow is the day, appointment with the breast surgeon. The letter and packet, they sent, said I could call and ask questions so I did. They use SHUDDER paper capes! Those things are cold! I asked if I could bring my CLOTH modified top, that I made especially for my yearly breast exams. Was told that should not be a problem. Asked about warmth of exam rooms. Aarrg! They are having problems with the heat so cannot guarantee a warm exam room during the coldest weather we have had this winter. This usually hot blooded gal has been FREEZING ever since I got this diagnosis. That retracted nipple still tries to stand up and take notice, when cold, so will get some more practice. On a more positive note, was told I would have the opportunity to ask all the questions, I want, and I have PLENTY. Am hoping to get more information on the biopsy, estrogen receptive? etc. and answers on all surgical options. Wish me luck.
