Guest guest
Hi all, Well, I went back to the doctor today for a recheck on my shoulder and because I have been very dizzy/lightheaded lately and almost passed out at church on Sunday. As far as the shoulder goes, I have an MRI on March 5th, to check for a torn rotator cuff. Sound familiar Laurie? Mine isn't as near as bad as yours is though. I am not convinced that I have a tear. I think it is probably just bruised. As for the dizziness, I will be going on a heart monitor on March 5th, for a month. I have done this many times before, but all for the tachycardia. After my last one, they did the cardiac ablation, which took out the one extra electrical wire that was causing heart beats up past 200 beats per minute. Now the problem is that he things my heart is slowing down at times, causing the passing out. I am also going to an ENT, as he thinks there is an inner ear problem, along with the possibility that I could be losing hearing in my right ear. He has been noticing changes in how I turn my head to listen to him and that I am speaking louder, when I haven't noticed this. All of this came as quite a shock to me. I was thinking it was my blood sugar dropping, but not so. That was checked, along with other things. He has known me for 25 years, so he has a good handle on me. We shall see what the tests show. I am also having to make a trip out of town for my cousin's grandma's funeral. I am very close to this cousin and was also close to her grandmother. It was a shock that she died, as even though she was close to 90, she was very healthy. Pretty sure it was a heart attack. She must not have been feeling well, as she made a bed for herself on the floor. Okay, sorry to vent, just had to get things off of my chest, as it has all happened so quick (I just got back from the doctor less than an hour ago). I am heading off to my one conference tonight. I have 11 on Thursday, so I will be busy! Smiles, a
Guest guest
a I hope your shoulder will heel with time. The MRI will be able to tell if it is torn. Good luck finding the cause of the passing out. You have every right to vent. Guest guest
a, Hope you figure out whats up with the shoulder. Hopefully they will find out whats causing the dizziness too. Ive had those month long heart monitor things done too- last one never heard back from dr and got a big bill and im trying to still sort it all out now. I saw an ENT about the dizziness also and he found i did have hearing loss in my right ear and that the nerves and reflexes inside my ear werent working well at all and that was probably causing the dizziness too. Also, sorry to hear about your cousin's grandma- hope the trip goes ok. youre in my thoughts and hope you get an answer to whats causing the dizzness and get your shoulder better. take care, adrienne
