Jackie; thanks so very much for the info, I will do that. I am sorry you had a hard time. How long ago did you have that done? What was your recovery time?

Yes and the belly button.The trick to coming home quickly is walking ALOT in the hallways to get the gases to move thru your body so you can pass gas and have a bowel movement. That is what you have to do before they let ya go home. And remember to drink plenty of fluids and take the stool softners when you get home because most pain meds cause constipation and trust me on this one....you DO NOT want to become constipated....it is VERY painful and uncomfortable. Besides having that happen, mine went very well with a fast recovery.

It has been about 3 yrs since I had my hysterectomy Ren. The recovery wasn't very long but can't remember exactley. Good luck to you.
