June has unsubscribed from the group. I am sorry she feels this way but this is a free country and we can express our feelings etc. MOST of us DO believe in God. I feel there was no harm in posting this. Anyone that is offended by a post of any sort can just hit DELETE!

Sorry, I find the current religiosity of the this group highly offensive. Icame here for support for breast cancer and light discussion, not for afrigging sermon on how anyone's religion. If I wanted that I could go to achurch. Most of you are really sweet but I don't want songs of praises of yourreligious convictions coming through on my computer. I think it is for the best that June left the group. It was pretty

nervy of her to come into a group of mostly believers (whether

Christian, Jewish, Buddist, or whatever) and complain every time

anyone referenced God. My God will be there if she ever realizes

she needs Him.

Good for you, nne. I'm just very thankful that God has

provided her with a Secular BC website. I think it's only fair.

I totally agree marianne. she might have said something that offended another member herself and nobody may have said anything. people crack me up being so politically correct these days. everyone seems to try and disolve anyones religious beliefs no matter where they go or what they do anymore. for goodness sakes look at all the controversy over the ten commandments or statements like in god we trust on our money that has been there long before some of us have been alive. what happened to freedom of religion or expression! i dont know about where you members live but at christmas for instance there was an issue here in tn about whether to call a christmas tree a holiday tree! good grief! call it what u want what does it matter? to me it can be a christmas, kwanzaa, or whatever religion you are tree and celebrate at that time of year. sorry got on a tangent! & nne

Well she certainly got to tell a few of us off before she left didn't she. If my page honoring my God was offensive to her then it is my opinion she needs more than this group to help pull her through.

Well, I'm an agnostic - I really hope that doesn't offend anyone - but I

don't get aereated about other people's beliefs. Whatever you believe is

your business, not mine, as long as you don't spend too much effort on

trying to convert me <G>. I certainly don't object when your beliefs show

through in your messages - that just gives a better picture of the person

you are, and I like that.

Love (hoping not to be expelled from the group),

Margery.

Margery,

I don't delete anyone because of their religious beliefs. You are more than welcome to stay with us.

I have gone back over her posts since I joined and found then to be rather trite. It is clear to me that she is the bossy type. She will suffer much more than she needs to, I'm afraid.

Margery I believe we all must cling to whatever lifts our souls and helps us get through life. For me it is God. I do not require your beliefs to be as mine.... Only to be allowed to have mine Hon. You are a lady with breast cancer, just like us. You are a sister !
