Guest guest
Well, I'm certainly no expert, but I've seen lots of women on this board (and my wife) all talk about that monthly weight gain that seems to come right off. So, stay encouraged - since you're totally OP, I'm sure you can expect to see a big loss next week. Your attitude is inspirational, April - you're determination shows in your decision to go work out after a less then happy weigh-in, in your comments about dealing with Thanksgiving. Also, congratulations on your husband joining you at WW. That kind of support system also helps a lot. I overheard my wife on the phone with her Mom. She was " talking up " my weight loss and new image and she just sounded so proud of me - now, that's inspirational!!!!! Guest guest
Weighed in this morning with a whopping " stay the same. " Oh well, I did everything right, so I'll just keep on keeping on and see how it goes next weekend. After the meeting my husband and I drove downtown for the Jingle Bell 5K. I beat my own personal 5K record!!! I did 3.1 miles in 30:35. That made me feel a lot better after the weigh in. Plus, after the run, they had pizza for us to eat. I looked at it, said there's no way I'm wasting my points on cold pizza that looked gross, and had a banana. I picked up a small bag of Brent & Sam's chocolate chip cookies, too. Only 3 points for the bag! Now, those are worth it! April : )
Guest guest
Great job on refusing the pizza! I wouldn't have been able to do it, especially after running a 5K! Guest guest
April, I'm glad you were encouraged once you looked at the month's picture. Averaging four pounds a month will add up fast! Hang in there. Bette
Guest guest
People often look at each week and often get discouraged at the numbers. But when you look at from an over all picture, then you can see the progresses that you have truly made. arminor75 wrote:Hi all! Lost 3/4 of a pound this morning at my WW meeting. I was a little discouraged (stayed the same last week, then such a smallish loss), but my leader looked back over my last four weeks (stayed the same, lost 3, stayed the same, lost 3/4) that my average for the four weeks was alost a pound a week--so right on track. That reassured me. Guest guest
I think that it IS fantastic that you've lost, even if it's slower than what you might want. It's great that you are on the right track and as Bette say, it adds up to the number we want in the end. Re: April's WI April, I'm glad you were encouraged once you looked at the month's picture. Guest guest
Yes April, the lower your weight the slower it comes off. With the amount of activity you get you probably look like you weigh 120 anyway! I can not wait to be 140.2!!! The New Year will get you into the next decade! Jenn Subject: RE: April's WI I know it must be frustrating, but hang in there. I'll send good scale vibes your way for next week. You're sooooo close.
