Guest guest
Those water bras look great & a lot of women swear they are more comfy than the miracle bra. There's also one out called and "x" bra with strings you adjust for cleavage, I'm going bra shopping soon-wearing a rather low cut clingy/drapey dress for our school's annual barristers ball. just thought I'd share the x thing. Guest guest
Susie, Don't you just love a good shopping trip? Here's a suggestion about the boob situation, if you don't mind getting one. My sister is in the same boat as you, boob-wise. We found a great bra for her at 's Secret . . . one of their new liquid-filled bras, rather along the lines of a Miracle Bra. It was $40. A little pricey, she thought, but worth it when she saw it on and how great it looked. Then, just recently, I was in Wal-mart and saw the same type of bra (actually looks identical), only it was a mere $14.96. Came in nude and black (probably white, but my Wal-mart didn't have the white) so I picked one up for Kim and mailed it to her. Funny story about the liquid boobs, as we call them. . . . As I was getting my act together to mail them to Kim, along with some other items I was compiling to go into the box, the bra, on it's little plastic store hanger, hung on the back of one of our dining room chairs for a couple of weeks. After about a week of that, my husband, Art, asked me, "When are you going to send that thing to Kim? Everytime I walk by it I have to feel it!" Seems as though he was so entranced by the feel of the liquid in the cups, he just couldn't help himself. I finally did get it mailed to Kim, with a note telling her that her liquid boobs had been pre-squeezed. She says she can't tell any difference between the Wal-mart bra at the 's Secret bra, for what it's worth. Terry

Guest guest
Thanks Terry! I will check out the local Wal-Mart. I probably should say that I am not really a small busted person (D cup), but that I can wear a 16 top and 22 bottom (purely a pear!). I want a bra that will " lift and separate " like they all advertise. Am I asking too much. Today I have on a bra that feels like " they " are at my belly button! I hate that look - you know the Kathy Lee Gifford look. I want to get that woman a really good bra and take up the straps a good 4 inches! She sure can afford to spend $40plus! Thanks for the info and I will go shopping later today! Susie __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Sounds really pretty! Hope u have a good time! Anway, I made a flying trip to another city and found a beautiful long gown that is the color eggplant. It is made of clingy material (something I do not wear), but absolutely gorgeous. The top and jacket are trimmed with irridescent silver beads and the skirt is solid with a slit on the left leg. I don't quite have the boobs required and need the dress altered. I think I am going to buy a nice bra for the event and show a little cleavage for DH. I want him thinking about them all night long! I went on a buying spree Saturday! I walked out of a store with two capri outfits and a denim skirt, slack, and jacket outfit! Mike was a little alarmed because this is unlike me to buy more than one item at a time! Don't ask me what happened, but I was just in too good of a mood! Have a great week and sorry to be so self-indulged! Susie
Guest guest
Susie! What fun! Send a picture if you can. You know, what Mother Nature didn't give you can be found in the back of a magazine - I've seen beautiful " falsies " that slide in underneath your own for more " oomph " - they are made of the same thing as better breast prostheses, and seem real. I'll bet DH would be wondering all night! Chris OT - Red Hair, Brown Hair, and Clothing Well kids, I had very dark hair when I was young. It would turn auburn in the summer with the sun. I now color it a lighter auburn shade with blond streaks on the crown and bang area. As a matter of fact, I am having it done again this evening! My sister (5 years older) does not color her hair and she definitely needs to! She has always been a strawberry blonde and it has turned really flat looking (getting very grey). So, this 43 years young person will NOT give up coloring her hair! But, I did give up my acrylics this weekend. The darned tech FILED THROUGH my nail bed. I soaked the dang things off and am starting today at a new shop for manicures only! Now, that I am on a ME, MYSELF, and I roll--I have got to tell you guys about the new clothes I bought this weekend! Mike and I are attending a black tie event at the University in our community. It is the annual Foundations dinner and is very elegant. Mike really wanted to go, but I hedged because I don't have any formal evening clothes. I found a dress in the Quad Cities a week ago and it really looks nice, but it is knee length. Mike was emphatic that I not buy it because most of the women are wearing long gowns. I bought it, took it to my favorite boutique for approval and they told me the same thing. Anway, I made a flying trip to another city and found a beautiful long gown that is the color eggplant. Guest guest
If anyone comes up with a source for a bra with a hydraulic lift system, please let me know as soon as possible. Likewise, underwired support panties would be a great invention, if anyone is so inclined. Terry
Guest guest
Thanks Amy! I will look for the 'X' brand, too! Susie __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Terry - I am sitting at my desk with my coffee and just chuckling to myself about the hydraulic lift bra. Don't I know that one! These things just hang all over the place. Must be from the kid that was still attached on the other side of the bed all those years ago. The underwire support panties remind me of a friend that was enjoying a " quickie " in the shower with her husband. He told her, " you know, your butt is really beginning to sag. " Now, how do you think she responded. I bet the water turned cold and he went... Guest guest
Susie! Your outfit sounds absolutely gorgeous! I love that color - I have also seen it called aubergine. With your coloring, I bet you look fabulous! Have a great time at your dinner - I want details! Warmly, Susie wrote: Well kids, I had very dark hair when I was young. Guest guest
It is so funny that you called it aubergine! My favorite boutique kept calling it that same color! I kept saying eggplant and she finally looked at me and said, " Susie, it the same thing. " Oh, one sounds like something French and the other sounds like a vegetable! I will provide the details and hopefully a picture. Still gotta find a bra for dh's benefit (VBEG)!
