Guest guest
Vicki, When we first started out w/ Ross in day care we were paying $150/wk (and that was for home day care w/ my SIL's mom!), then when he turned 2 the rates went down, then when we finally got him potty trained they went down again, but in the last 2 years the rates around here have just gone through the roof! Part of it is supply and demand. With the welfare reform here, more women are working so the demand for daycare has increased dramatically. What can you do except buy that weekly lottery ticket and dream big dreams ? Jerry (and I) have been involved w/ the youth group for almost 7 years, so it was time to let someone else take over for a while. I imagine we will still help out and maybe even take over the responsibility again sometime. Jerry is an architect for his " real " job (although I think his secret dream would be to own his own company where he not only designed houses, but built them himself - and I mean litterally built them, with his own little hands. He loves that kind of stuff). He mostly does retail buildings now, but was just informed that he will be doing more residential in the future. Congratulations on the 1 lb. and being 1/2 to your goal!!! Look out Sports Illustrated ! I'm too short or i'd join you on the cover (LOL)! Take Care and have a great weekend Kendall > Hi Kendall, > GASP!!! You pay that much in daycare??? I had no idea! I'm feeling very > very lucky today!!!!! Wow!
