Hi AmyR--

I know you will tell him on your own time--but the period from

getting the + HPT to seeing the heartbeat in the right spot can be

very nerve-wrecking. You shouldn't take on that burden all by

yourself.

Of course, we are here to take it on with you!

Amy,

That's so cute! Reading to the baby is a great idea, and hey, it's

probably pretty relaxing for you to get read to also! I'm glad he's

getting excited. Men are always about a step behind women when it

comes to emotional handling of a situation, so he's right on schedule!

I know you said you weren't going to, but please post when you get

anymore information on your baby. Do you think you'll want to know the

sex ahead of time? Either way, what a fun decision to be making. Hope

you are doing well!

Amy, I know what you mean. I don't think if we woud of not experienced having

such a loss we would be so scared. I am not sure still if I am ready to tell

people. I don't know, it really is sad that we worry about every little thing.

I wish we were able to sit back and experience the whole thing like it was

nothing to be afraid of. I am happy to be pg too but I am so nervous sometimes.

I'm feeling okay. M/s comes and goes...brushing my teeth in the morning has

become a very interesting experience...a challenge! And I'm nervous about

everything, but if I make it through the next 5 weeks safely then hopefully

I can start to let my guard down a little and actually just be happy. It is

so hard to do that. I wonder if I would've felt the same way even if I

hadn't had the ep...somehow I don't think so cause I was ignorantly happy

for the week that I knew I was pg before having surgery. Sad, isn't it?

Happy with the pg that ended terribly and can't let go of fear with the pg

that is thus far just fine. Well I'm starting to sound really depressing so

I'm going to end this note...I honestly am happy about being pg again (even

though it doesn't sound like it from this).

You are so sweet to remember everybody. Dr appt went fine...there

was nothing really exciting to say about it so I just didn't. She

tried to hear the h/b but at 7wk6d it was a bit too early. She

scheduled an u/s for me for next week Thursday (since it isn't an

emergency thing, I have to wait like a normal person, ugh!) I think

it is more for my benefit than anything else because she believes

everything is a-okay...which is comforting. So hopefully I will have

more to share with you next week. Thanks for thinking about me!

amy r,

I am glad your dr thinks everything is ok.. that must be somewhat of a

relief... I'll be keeping my fingers and tosses crossed that you can hear

the heartbeat on thursday and that the time flies by...

Lots of ++++++++++++++++++++++++++
