Guest guest
Cheri, Thanks for the reply. I see this doctor because he is the only doc I have that will adrdress my issues. I was told I have Fibromyalgia, but after alot of researching and testing I believe my low adrenals are more the the problem. I am trying to get into a Endo in Las Vegas where I reside. The couple I found on the direcory of good Endo's are forever to get into. The others take no insurnane like my cuurent Intergrtive doc. I think you are right .My Pdoc might be thinking Predinisone. I had to g to the ER a couple months ago I was in so much pain and the ErRgave me 60 mg. of Predinisone to start and it caused my mood to be erractic. Way to high of dose as well as predisone way harder on the body the HC.Took all the pain away but not worth it. My intergrative doc gave me HC .Do you feel that this is good or is Cortef or Isocort for third stage low adrenals better in your opinion ? Also, I know you have done alot of research from some of your posts you stated due to not having insurance. Did you have low adrenals as well as thyroid imbalance? What has helped you the most in getting healthier? I made notes and brought up alot of the things listed on stopthemadness.com ,as well as this group. One thing he it does is that he feels that a low dose of thyroid with HC is how to treat me.This is not right ,as and several sources have made it clear ,that the adrenals must be dealth with first. So when my tests come back free t3 and I get the canary tests, I will approach him again with adrenals first and if he does not want to help that route I hopefully will get into a good Endo and they will be able to assist me. Do to being on some anti depression medications I would be concerned if a doctor was not keeping an eye on my progress. Thanks, a MsSquarepants wrote: I never heard of HC causing depression. Maybe at super high doses but you won't be doing super high doses. The Canary Club tests are the cheapest. $141 It is cheaper than doing just cortisol and you get the extra ones so you might as well do it. They are a nonprofit org which is why they can do it so cheaply. Your integrative doc sure charged you a lot. Cheri RE: HC and Adrenal testing feedback I spoke to my psychiatrist on starting HC, that I most likey will need and he warned me that it can cause worse depression. I do understand that adrenals being in the dumps and thryoid can have me feeling low and unmotivated at times. Has anyone heard of HC causing more depression? I also posted today if anyoen knew of a place I can get a farely good price on just the adrenal salvia kit? I just put out $312 at my Intergrative doc and I on SSI. Thanks for anyone with feedback!(= a ..
