Guest guest
Hi Carolyn!! Not sure about the nightsweats, but Glenn has had trouble with gas/gas pain and diarrhea ever since his colon resection a year ago. It is manageable, tho. Couldn't your extreme gas/gas pains be from the surgery itself at this point, tho?? I'm so glad doctors feel they got all the cancer...we'll keep praying for you and a speedy recovery with a Cancer Free Year... I like that phrase!!! Wish I could say it with reference to Glenn...:-( Take care and Happy New Year!!! Donelle, Care-giver to Glenn
Guest guest
I went in for rectal cancer surgery on the 20th got home yesterday. Everything went as smooth as was expected. There was a problem the resection (long story) so I have a colostomy (which was pretty much expected) and it will probably be permanenent (also no surprise) but the good news here too is that it had not gone through the rectal wall and the pathology showed no lymph node involvement and the feel they got it all. I also am having a problem of waking up soaking after a couple of hrs. Also the gas pain I am having is HORRENDOUS. I feel it going to kill me! Any suggestions?
