Grandmommy & Me does not make any profit on these Cancer Gift items...all profits are donated specifically for Cancer Research. So far, our little website has donated close to a thousand dollars....and we are so proud!!! We will not be carrying these products too much longer, only until our current stock is gone (but we've still got a lot). I am just going to place info and link on my website for people to go directly to our supplier, who are a couple young ladies fighting the fight and who have lost a close friend. It's really a touching story and that's how we started carrying the products. I just don't have the room to carry all the stock we really need to. And I don't have the time to promote that part of the webstore, like I would like to do so. Take a look, if you'd like. Glenn has not lost his hair; at least, not yet... and he's just finished his 3rd round. He does have the sensitivity to cold in the throat and tingling in the hands and feet. His biggest problem is the build-up of fluid in the tummy. He just went today and had another 4 milileters removed....he would've made a good Santa Claus...:-) Take care...and I just hope you don't lose your hair!!! We can do without that!!! I know of several kids here in this area who grew their hair long to donate to the foundation that makes wigs for children. I have read of some men doing it as well. Found a couple turban type, one of gauze which might be comfortable for summer wear. They even have a knitted cowboy hat, so cool. On sale too. LOL.. Some of the knit stuff is custom made. Prices considering - are fair. Some really classy design baseball cap styles. I will almost be disappoint if my hair doesn't fall out.. (Ya right).. Though if it does thin out, I may opt to shave it, cause my hair is thin already. Is mostly why you see me in my photos with short hair, my hair is just purely unstylable - now if I were rich and had a live in stylist... I used to get perms but with my hair so short, in two months the perm was gone.. Here I have 3 kids with really curly hair, and one grand daughter. They got it from their dad though, not me..
