My father has stage 4 colon cancer and has begun feeling the effects

of the chemo by getting mouth sores - from what i have read the

Biotine is good for that therfore I suggested it and he has started

to use it. Is there anything else? The Biotine he said makes things

feel good after he brushes his teeth but he can't very well brush his

teeth all day long....he can barely eat solid foods right now they

bother him so much.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Try it for a while and also ask the chemo nurses for the Magic Mouthwash.

These are the two standards. For the time being you might want to keep him on a

soft diet. Eggs milkshakes pudding etc.

You should see improvement by the end of the week with the Biotene.

Hope that helps

Try baking soda mixed with warm water 4 times a day AND get him a

bottle of Super B Complex vitamins with at least 100 mcg of B1 B2 B3

B4 B5 B6 and B12. Also next chemo treatment tell him to suck on ice

chips or popsickles.
