Guest guest
I never drink coffee, but I drink an average of 1.5 gallons of tea each day, even pretty watered down that's counting for some cafeine ... lol Effie.

Guest guest
I have also felt bad effects on my fibroids from drinking coffee. After reading some information on links between them, and then realizing that my coffee consumption had gone up during the period when my fibroids doubled in size, I gave it up for a couple of weeks. After that, I'd have it a cup just occasionally, but any time I had some (even decaf), I felt sharp pains in my largest fibroid. Even though I crave it and the smell drives me crazy, I've cut back to just a cup every couple of weeks. Guest guest
> Effie, > And how many times do you have to get up at night?????? I don't. I guess my bladder can compete in the Olympics. Of course, my last pot of tea has to be at least 2 hours before going to bed, to allow the liquid to pass through. There's much talk of how healthy it is to drink at least X pints of water per day and I see people straining to down that much. With me, the tea is very weak so it is almost just hot water. I don't drink anything else except the occasional glass of orange juice. Even with the possible bad effects of cafeine, I don't think that my excessive tea consumption is unhealthy, and it has the nice side effect that it is very easy for me to check on whether my fibroids might start to affect bladder function. So far, no problems ! <grin> Effie " Tea is my fuel " .
Guest guest
Effie, I think it's " location, location, location " as far as where the fibroid is that affects bladder function. I'll have to try your tea thing. I have to force myself to drink enough water and I stil can't get a half gallon down. I prefer coffee, but I'll work on the tea thing. Is this a British thing????? :-) oke

I drink a British tea brand, but a British person wouldn't recognize the beverage, it's very weak and I drink it without milk. Sometimes I wonder if cups of hot water wouldn't do as well. Effie.
