You are right. At the time, I thought it was because SOME contact lens

wearers were mildly allergic to thimerosal. I was led to believe that at

worst, it was an eye " irritant. "

Little did I know that thimerosal has been implicated in far more serious

health problems over the years. However, the worst problems, apparently

have been with infants and the thimerosal found in their vaccines.

Thimerosal contains a large amount of mercury, which is particularly harmful

to infants, and most toxic when it is introduced in the body through

injection.

Mercury is excreted in adults through our bile, which is NOT the case with

infants. Apparently, the mercury instead of being excreted, accumulates in

the infant's body.

gg- you are much more well-read about this topic: Is thimerosol deemed to be

as toxic in adults as it is to infants?

well....as Senator Dan Burton of Indiana told the pedantic and slow moving

officials from the FDA,

NIH, and CDC, " I am going to tell the other 250 Senators who have just gotten

their flu shots what is

going on here, about the implications of thimerasol and Alzheimer's, and believe

me, you don't want

250 more of me to contend with, so I suggest you people get up off your behinds

and go out and take

this stuff out of every vaccine. "

One research scientist asked if he thought mercury was that toxic

replied that when a

thermometer broke in his lab, he evacuated the lab and called in for Hazardous

Materials cleanup. AND

THEY THINK IT IS OK TO INJECT THIS STUFF INTO OUR KIDS AND OLDER PEOPLE AT RISK

IN ANY LEVEL? Autism

and ADHD is EXPLODING in California! gg

Am I the only one on this group who played with mercury as a kid? We

bought it at the drug store and it was the coolest stuff.

I know I did. As a matter of fact, we were exposed to it in school. I

recall doing basic experiments with loose mercury on a tray. The way

it rolled and reconnected to itself etc. Not to mention when a

thermometer broke.

Speaking of which, with technology today combined with current

knowledge..why are they still producing glass thermometers filled with

mercury considering they break so easily?? There are so many other

methods available. Or if there is a reason for having them, why not

using some form of unbreakable (or almost) clear material to avoid

exposure potential?

There are flu shots with and without thimerosal.

yeah ,but the docs don't know which are which, because of the proprietary

laws surrounding the

meds and the FDA and CDC and NIH refuse to cough it up! They simply DON'T KNOW!

That was according to

all the head dudes from those agencies that I watched on those Senate Reform

Comittee meetings the

other day.

The vaccine companies are scrambling like rats to divest themselves of

their poison....two

major companies have jumped ship and no longer will provide vaccines and the

other few left haven't

tooled up to provide single dose deliveries and so....hahaha....so the Agency

folk...protectors of

our health...were saying that they HAD to provide this stuff with the thimerisol

in it. With that,

the Senator from Indiana who was heading this meeting said, " sit down, I've

heard enough of this

nonsense. " hahaha. gg
