My fingers were slightly red and look like they all had paper cuts on them. Liquid bandage did the trick, looks like clear nail polish. In the packet, it recomends taking B-12 and applying Bag Balm on your feet. My feet were red and at times painful when walking. The onc can lower the dosage according to the severity of the side effects. I used cocoa butter rather than the Bag Balm. Good luck with any decision you make. Hope this helps.
