Guest guest
Angi 0:-) I was just lookingthrough the Past Times catalogue and they have the set of Flambards videos, episodes 1-13. Why don't the TV companies repeat programmes like this - I can remember them been brilliant. We always seem to get C**p repeated! Guest guest
Flambards - a potted history! A series shown in the mid-late Seventies, costume drama based around First World War, Romance, Horses, quite pretty Red-Haired girl played the lead (). Shown on ITV on Friday nights along with other classics like.....Upstairs Downstairs, Love for Lydia, The Avenue (with Duttine - yummy), Danger UXB, Lillie Langtry, Will Shakespeare (with Tim Currie), Clayhanger, The Mallons.......and loads more! ITV were totally fantastic at costume dramas in the Seventies - much better than BBC (although I loved Poldark). It's a bit of a pet subject as my parents were so involved in this type of stuff in the seventies that I was a total fan. Friday nights I used to make something like a whole tray of chocolate brownies and eat them all whilst the friday night drama was on.. bliss! Thanks for the nostalgia trip Caroline

Guest guest
, are you sure you're not thinking of Poldark? Demelza was in that, not Flambards. Alison Well I can remember Flambards, If I ever had a daughter which is very unlikely I'd love to call her Demelsa (not sure if that's the correct spelling). Guest guest
Now Poldark is currently being shown on UK Gold. Couldn't find Flambards anywhere in the subscription channel listings though :-( Might have to get my books out of the loft.
