Dr Gross is great. I am speaking from personal experience. I drove

to him from NY City. He has performed the most surguries in the C2K

study! I cant speak for Dr Mont only what I read. He is first rate

as well!

I flew from Nevada to SC twice for Dr Gross. Would do it again on my

third hip.(?????lol!!) I also cannot speak for the other docs being

considered. It's nice to have a choice, though. Good for you.

Dr. Etienne is the best. He did my resurf operation Feb 25 2003. I

know of two other patients of his that are equally happy with his

surgery. My recovery is going quite well. I was pain free after the

first week. He is a real gentleman, competent surgery with a proven

track record. The overall care you receive at his hospital; Sinai is

just great.

Proceed with confidence when you go with Etienne.

Hi Lou!! My surgery was done by Dr Etienne, but I've been seen by

Dr Mont for followup - both guys are great!! Can't say enough good

about the care at Sinai; and the staff with Mont/Etienne are easy to

get along with!!

The new hip has given me my fun life back

archives on Surfacehippy by typing in " Dr. Gross, " " Dr. Mont, " or " Dr.

Etienne. " You'll get hundreds of posts relating personal experiences

during all phases of the process.

I live in Iowa, and I believe one of the best decisions I've made in my

life was to travel to South Carolina and be resurfaced by Dr. Gross.
