Guest guest
I hear you man. Thanks for your service (my dad was a medic in Nam with a LRRP unit). I get what you're saying, and all I can say is that it too bad that some folks can't accept a Merry Christmas in the spirit that it's given. It's funny, but I've worked with Jews, Buddhist and even a Pagan and an avowed atheist once. I served in the Army with a Navajo who practiced his people's native faith. None of these non-Christians, not one, ever complained about somebody saying Merry Christmas to them. Where I work at, I see a couple hundred people a day and nobody has rebuked me for wishing them a Merry Christmas either. I almost think the brouhaha is entirely an invention of the media just to have something else to gets peoples blood pressure up, and maybe give somebody an excuse to cause a ruckus (how's that for a conspiracy theory). Oh well. Hope you take it as my good wishes for you and yours. Merry Christmas to all Crosby EMT-B GREETINGS Pretty bad stuff,This is the time of the year to reflect on the past,be with friends, and think about mankind.I was a medic in Vietnam and even there the war slowed down for a short time, now people have nothing better to do than to worry about what to call a fur tree, what displays can be seen in the town square, what greetings we should use so not to upset the man down the street,so I'm doing my part not to give these people anything to get upset about!
