Mitochondrial Myopathy chat

FYI....there will be a Mito chat at the MDA site on April 30th...this is advance

notice thanks to a misunderstanding with my MDA service coordinator...hopefully

we can put it on our calendars and get there for it. If I'm not mistaken I

think you have to pre-register at the MDA site in order to participate in the

chat. It also sounds to me like they are looking for someone to handle this on

a regular basis...is anyone interested?

I contacted our national office regarding your question, and

there is a mitochondrial myopathy experts chat confirmed for April 30, 2003 with

Dr. Salvatore DiMauro (5:30-6:30 PM Eastern).

We have no mitochondrial myopathy support-type chat because there is no

volunteer team at this time willing to host such a chat.

If you know of someone interested in hosting a support group chat, there is a

place to sign up in the chat section of our website www.mdausa.org

the page you will see a link to MDA Chat. If you follow the link it will give

you the directions for registering for chats.
