Hi guys,

I have been Hypo for 7 years and recently found out I also have

Adrenal Fatigue by doing the saliva test. I'm on Armour (3 grams) and

full dosage of Isocort and feeling much better. So I'm fine.

It's my girlfriend I need advice on.

I'd never heard of Adrenal Fatigue until 3 months ago and it didn't

click with me because I had the symptoms, I did the test because I

thought it wise before I started Armour. But when I discovered it and

read what the symptoms are it was everything (exactly) that my

girlfriend has complained about for the last 2 years. Tiredness,

dragging herself out of bed, afternoon crashes, wieght around her

middle, digestive problems etc etc and all started at the same time

when she had very bad flu and alot of stress in a short period.

I bought her the test which we did about 6 weeks ago and I knew from

my experience that it took a while to come back so I advised her to

start taking Isocort while we wait and see if she feels better. But

to monitor herself and if she felt flushed etc to stop. They had an

effect within a week, she had much more energy and more consistant

through the day, less stomach problems, slept better etc and overall

they put her about half way to feeling " normal " .

When her results came back last week they were quite low (see below)

so she made an appointment to see the doctor with a view to going on

stronger meds. Unfortunately he doesn't know the Saliva test and

wants her to have a blood test. He knows she has been taking Isocort

but hasn't told her to stop. Won't it change the results? I don't

want her to come off and crash and damage herself but he has told he

to do it within a week and go back.

Also any comment on her results?

8am 0.3 ng/ml (Normal 1.5 to 15)

Noon 0.3 ng/ml (Normal 0.3 to 5)

6pm 0.3 ng/ml (Normal 0.3 to 5)

10pm 0.3 ng/ml (Normal 0.2 to 2.5)

Her levels are the same all throughout the day, well under in the

morning and the very edge of the low range throughout the day.

What do we do about the Isocort and blood test and what do you think

from her results? Any help greatly appreciated!
