Hi Jayne,

I'm at 7554 steps and it is 2:22 pm.

I did walk outside for an hour and now I am

off to visit my cousins. Yesterday, I took it off when

it hit 10,000 .... got tired of listening to it CLICK.

You Are Doing Great !

Each day try to do just a little more...no more couch potato !!

I am glad Jayne, that you have got the " bug " .....and Barbara too!!!!!! I

love it!!!!

And speaking of couch potatoes...I kind of did that today. I woke up last

night with my legs (mainly the muscles in my calves) twitching and aching

and generally carrying on from the shock of the last two days, I guess....so

I only walked and did not do my miles....I don't think I will be

over 6,000 today....but that is still good compared to my Pasita days when I

was lucky to get in 1000!!!! I think I should have gotten the GOLDEN COUCH

POTATO AWARD in those days, LOL.

Dianne....my pedometer does not make any noise...does yours really click????

Neat...im curious now..think i will see about getting one this weekend

Okay, tuesday was 5500 and wednesday is almost finished. I'm walking, we arrived at 2 pm and I cleaned the house and now it's cooler so I'm out for a walk, we'll see if I can get this thing over 6,000

Oh, yeah, put the pedometer on when you wake up and take it off last thing at night. You want to count all those steps you take all day even when cleaning. lol It will make you think twice about laying on the couch all day. :-)

a complaint??? NOT !!!

, I began WW at 234.6 and also had problems with my hands swelling and

itching anytime my heart rate increased. It drove me BATTY! I'm not sure when

it stopped, but I don't have that problem any more and don't remember it being

a problem all summer long either - so maybe 20ish pounds into my program??? I

drink a lot more water than I used to, so maybe sodium was the culprit. You

may not eat a lot of foods that you consider high in sodium (chips, pretzels)

but it does hide in everyday foods as well - so you may be eating more than you

think. Try increasing your water intake (I drink about 96 oz/day) and see if

that helps...

I get puffy when I work out too and I eat no salt. It is just your body holding

on to the water. Mine goes away once I cool down. It is nothing to be

concerned about as long as it is temporary.

Mine do the exact same thing. I don't eat much salt either. I

always thought it was just the circulation causing pressure, so I

shake my hands to release that feeling. Hum....maybe it's something

more. Someone else might have some insight that will clear it up for

us.

I do that same thing! After a workout my hands are so puffy they hurt and I

always wondered why - thanks!
