Hi! Margo here -- it's been a while-- I've been busy trying to get things

together to prepare for my surgery - scheduled June 4th with Dr. Gross.

I went on medical leave from work because the pain was getting too bad and my

feet were swollen. Since then I found out I am anemic and have a high

thyroid count -- so...

I am seeing a physician here for tests to see WHY? I guess the thyroid was a

bit better the last test - but I worried since my Dr. (GP) here in Fargo said

maybe an anesthesiologist may not want my thyroid uncontrolled. But the

thing is the tests they are doing will not be done at all before I leave - June

1.

SO I am going to go ahead in faith that my body will settle down and take to

the task. I guess the thyroid could be causing the anemia. I have had two

Procrit injections by Dr. Gross's order and have one more to go, so I hope it

helps.

Now I am just dealing with financial issues and flight tickets - motels.

I am eager to be done - but happy to have the opportunity to such a great

alternative to THR.

I will let you know how it goes.
