Guest guest
>Hello Gena, Thanks for the good wishes. While I haven't seen any major improvement on the AP, don't forget the changes it puts me through and those yukky purple looking legs disappearing too! Something's going on....I just happen to be one of the more stubborn ones. Dr. Franco says I will get better it will just take time. He is still trying to find the right meds for me right now and I will be seeing him every three months now instead of six so that he can monitor the RA closer and also any changes in the labs. Plus, I had quite a bit of damage in some joints before I finally got to see Dr. Franco. :-((( It seems that some people this works right away for and then there are one's like me......extra stubborn mycoplasmas or something. <grin> Hopefully you will be on of the ones that it works for right away! One thing Gena, none of us has anything to lose by trying this treatment instead of the usual drugs they use to fight these diseases. At least I haven't had one Dr. tell me that I'd better go and have my liver checked every 4-5 weeks while on the AP. That's what I had to do on the MTX. Oh and there was the eye checks for the plaquenil while he tried that! And oh yes I almost forgot! There was that time my stomach nearly exploded from the use of Indocin! <big grin> I like this approach much better! :-)))) Take care and have a healthy day. Best Wishes, Carol >I'm so sorry to hear that you haven't >noticed any improvement yet. Has >Dr. Franco offered his opinion?
