Guest guest
Well, Thursday's sono supposedly showed a pseudo sac in the uterus and a mass in my left tube and my beta was up to 10,000. I had a D & C( & E) done and they found something which did not look to be a product of conception but they sent it off to pathology and am waiting on that report on Monday. Because of the sono mass and high beta, they went ahead and did a laparatomy and found nothing!!! My tubes are perfectly fine and there is a large cyst on the left ovary which is what the Dr. believed they saw on sono. He said it is a hemoragic (sp?) cyst that is normal due to being pregnant. To repeat, no pregnancy was found at all but a beta right after the operation showed a drop from 10000 to 6000. We tried to do a repeat beta this morning, I was stuck 5 times but they could get no blood out of me so now I have to wait until Monday to get another beta. Sorry for the book, but I am losing my mind. Even though I went through the operation and everything, it is still not over. They still have not found the pregnancy!!! Guest guest
Hi Bash-- Maybe what they found in your tube was part of the ectopic afterall. I guess you will find out soon when you get the pathology report. It's good to know that your beta went down after the surgery. Let's hope it continues going downwards after all you've been through. It's so confusing when they see something on the U/S and they're not sure what it is. I had the same thing--I have something in there still, but the dr. said he's not concerned about it. He thinks it might be a clot, which might be the same as what your dr. calls a hemorage. From what I understand, sometimes clots can give off HCG if they were linked to the pregnancy. Keep us posted,

Guest guest
Bash, I'm so sorry you are going through all of this. This just is not fair. It is hard enough to lose a pregnancy without having to go through all this extra added turmoil. I hope they figure out what happened soon. -AmyR
Guest guest
Bash honey, you have been through so much and I wish you had some closure at this point. Having the ep is hard enough without having to go through all you have been going through. Take care.
Guest guest
Bash, I am also very sorry for everything you've had to go through. It is one thing to loose a pregnancy, but another thing to have to be put through so many medical procedures. I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers... {{{HUGS}}}
