Guest guest
Those bars look great. Not sure if they are allowed or not. But I am sure one of the SB experts will let you know. BTW-This list sure got quiet. I used to get tons of email from this group, now I get maybe 5 a day. Did everyone go on holiday? Snicker Marathon Low-Carb Bar Okay, this isn't the shortest link in the world, but:http://www.cssauction.com/product/___1143/snicker-marathon-low-carb-peanut-butter-lifestyle-energy-bar-30-piece-pack-with-free-shipping.htmlIs this legal?I grabbed one to replace a meal while I was on the road. It tasted way to good! So, I figured it must be bad ;-)What do you think?ie
Guest guest
LOL!! When I read the subject line I thought someone was having a Snickers eating marathon!! -- Ann You spend your life fighting dirt, and when you die they bury you in it. hayakawa@... Guest guest
A regular snickers bar gets a 40 on the glycemic index. A peach is around 40, too. That's considered low. Aside from the bad oil, I'd say it's OK to indulge in that during Phase 2 ONCE IN A WHILE. We're only human, after all. And this is a life plan. ...Peanut M & Ms are even better. > Okay, this isn't the shortest link in the world, but: > > http://www.cssauction.com/product/___1143/snicker-marathon-low- carb- > peanut-butter-lifestyle-energy-bar-30-piece-pack-with-free- > shipping.html > > Is this legal? > > I grabbed one to replace a meal while I was on the road. Guest guest
The REGULAR Snickers bar is what I'm talking about. (40 on the GI) It's right here in the snack machine at work. If I feel needy, I have half and keep the other half in my desk. Some people find that impossible. It's great with a cup of coffee. Better bet for Phase 2 and beyond: the really dark chocolate --70% with some peanuts or almonds. It's a very strong anti-oxidant and doesn't have much sugar. I'm going to keep that around. > > It's a new diet plan, Ann The Snickers Marathon Diet. LOL. > > > I could do that!
