Guest guest
We've done tgif--spoke with the kitchen manager to make him aware of our needs. Kid burgers are not gf--so if kiddies are going--ask them to sub the reg patties for the kid meal. Mashed pots are gf. salad with strawberris (I forget the name) but no chx. I bring my own dressing. ice cream and hot fudge were gf--but I bet that varies by location. Might be a hard night to go out--V-day and all. good luck! --- cheryl wrote: > On our way out to dinner... > anyone know if these places have gluten free items? > Can't find the menu in the file section... > thanks! > cheryl > > > > __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Arby's also has a gluten free list in the restaurant guide. Haven't eaten there yet, but did check it out. Guest guest
Thank you all for the advice on the cookies and fast food restaurants...Well, we ended up going to the mall food court (big mistake!), thinking that with 4 of us, we could please everyone.....(right!) Everyone had something different, and I chose Japanese Sarku's chicken teriyaki and steamed rice...it was the only thing pre-gluten that didn't seem to make me sick. Well, guess what? It does now!!! I am surely paying for it! I had to run to the bathroom the minute we got home, and had severe chills, then sweats, and the stomach/intestinal pains made me cry! I forgot how bad it hurts!!! I can't believe I used to live like this! And twice in one day..this morning it was a McD's hash brown. I suppose I could try and blame it on the current stress in this household within the past week, but it really is my own stupidity. Tomorrow is a new day. I will try to make smarter decisions. I am so thankful for this group, and the wealth of information and friendly support. God Bless You All! Cheryl
