Guest guest
Although I can only tell you from my own personal experience, it seems as though taking you off the hormones 1 month after surgery is appropriate. I was on PremPro for 4-6 months after my lap and hysteroscopy, but that was because my RE put me on Lupron to prevent my endometriosis from coming back. However, your Dr. may put you back on Provera if your period does not come naturally without any additional signs of AS.
Guest guest
Connie, Every RE has a different recipe. It is very reassuring that you have a period. Just keep track of when it started, and how much you are bleeding. Sounds good though. "Connie wrote: Hi Everyone! I took my last day of Provera and Premarin on 2/26 and have had wicked cramps for 1 week now. This morning I did start some bleeding, although very light. I am 1 month post-op lap/hyst and had the balloon in for 15 days. So I had 30 days of hormones. My RE said no more estrogen now, Is this the norm??? I am having a repeat HSG next week. I'm not even sure if I count today as day 1, because of such light flow. Any advice? Thanks, Connie W
