Granted, she was doing well, but I still think a 48 hour stay would have been more restful for her. Surgery is the EASY part of cancer from what I'm hearing. The chemo treatments are the most difficult part of trying to stay alive and free of cancer cells. No, the hurricane definitely doesn't help. Can imagine a war in this country? We aren't used to being inconvenienced in the slightest and some people are sick and live through wars--fighting and bombing in their own cities! Jinny thebirdlover@... And where is the rest of the family if they are so concerned? Is there a medical facility that can care for them until the storm is over and you have some options? Actually if you want to get mad what kind of Dr. would release her from the hospital knowing another hurricane was coming and she may need to go to a shelter?
