I think ours has died :-(

It's only 14/15 months old but all of a sudden when it comes to the spin cycle

it just won't stop. Very strange and the nappies came out although they looked

clean they didn't smell clean. Yuk.

So me thinks I shall be taking a trip to the launderette this evening to do a

couple of loads.

Now where's my yellow pages need to find a man that can sort of my spiny thing.

, this is me!!!! Except that mine won't spin in the first place and all my

washing is sitting in a load of water, probably rotting away as I type. I have

a lovely little man who lives across the road and has fixed my tumble dryer, Vax

and vacuum cleaner before, and someone told me he is great with washing

machines, too. I have left a message on his answerphone and am just waiting for

him to get back to me. So why am I blocking the telephone line by playing on

the puter?!

This happened to me over a year ago - could be the brushes, you have to

expect them to wear away in time.

If so it shouldn't cost too much to fix. In the mean time:

If you can open the washing machine and have just wet washing, not loads of

extra water. Try halfing the load and trying to spin again, this may work.

- got the T-shirt

Thanks, , but I have tried all the programmes and I can't get it to spin at

all. I can't open the machine without flooding my kitchen either. Having

avoided the floods caused by overflowing rivers, I'd rather not have a DIY one!

Tame repair man coming tomorrow.

Are you able to drain by taking the hose out of the outlet at the back? This

is how I drain off when I`ve forgotten to clean out the filter (oops)...then

another spin sometimes clears it enough to open the door,

Will you lot stop talking about washing machines going wrong. My WM is

obviously reading my emails because despite being brand new it has just stopped

10 minutes into its drying cycle and I have retreived a couple of hot and steamy

towels to hang over the radiators... hoping it is just objecting to the weight

and heat the towels produce otherwise I am going to be for a mad rushed repair

before my housesitters arrive next week. Aaargh....

> Well they say things come in threes don't they, so that's Alison, Cerys

and myself with dead machines. So hopefully I've not put the curse on any

one else.

D*** you - it's your fault. It's not dead, but far from well. (;0)) It's

suddenly developed a hole, and a dribble, as well as a faulty door.
