Guest guest
-----Original Message----- My question is - is this unusual as previously I have had UC for several years at least. I know UC can get more active or less active, but having almost complete healing is this unusual? In 1991 Ken had a lot of bleeding, he was dx with UC, given steroids, and several other meds I can’t remember. About 6 months later he went off all meds and remains symptom free until this very day. His doc says if I didn’t have the paper work (and pictures) to prove it, he would have never known about the UC – every test looks perfect. I often wondered if Ken had symptoms and stayed on the meds all this time, if by some chance he wouldn’t have gotten the PSC. I think for the most part, folks with PSC have few UC symptoms – makes you go hmmmm don’t it? Barb in Texas - Together in the Fight, Whatever it Takes!
