Guest guest
Haley- I remember when you posted your age a few weeks back, and I remember feeling comforted that you're in a "similar" boat as I! Here's my scoop: My bloodwork for hcg finally came back negative yesterday (my d & c was 4/23, so it took a whole month to come down...), and I'm happy about that, just nervous and expecting a bleed in a few days, or that's at least what the nurse told me to expect, then, one more cycle and a diag. hysteroscopy to make sure there is no scarring. I've been pretty annoyed that it took so long to come down, even thought Dr. I said it may, since it was 21,000 at time of d & c, I kept thinking something was wrong, especially with that cramping and bleeding I had. I've had a little light pink spotting today, and I'm pretty wound up that the bleeding is going to be light, which may indicate scarring....before I had AS, I never wished for a heavy period, and now I do! I wish I could just try and gear up for the next round of ttc, which will hopefully be July, instead of worrying about this! Anyway, I hope you are well, Haley, thanks for asking after me. Guest guest
, I'm glad to hear that things are finally moving along for you. I certainly hope your spotting is a sign of things to come. I'm expecting my first " natural " AF in the next few days too, so I am hoping for heaviness for both of us (as strange as that sounds). I think all your cramping and bleeding after the D & C was a good sign that your lining was mostly intact so you should have no worries. Also, remember that it can take some time for your body to get busy again so don't fret if AF doesn't show up right away. Your spotting today could even signal ovulation, who knows... Anyway, good to hear from you! I have my fingers crossed for both of us, as always. Haley
Guest guest
Hi Haley- Boy, be careful what you wish for, I had a very consistent/medium to heavy AF from Friday to Monday....it made me feel a lot better , although we won't know if there is scarring for sure until my hyster. a month from now.... Anyway, I was thinking of you, I think you were expecting yours too? D.Haley Kermis wrote:
Guest guest
, I'm so happy to hear that your period arrived and that it was heavy! Very good news! Have you scheduled your hysteroscopy yet? I'm sure you'll be cleared to ttc very soon. I'm very happy for you . Thanks for thinking of me. I have to admit to feeling extremely down in the dumps. My " period " arrived yesterday evening but is nothing more than a bit of brown spotting. The strange thing is that I have some pretty fierce cramps, they kept me up last night. This is a dramatic decrease from last month's 3 1/2 days of bright red (after 60 days on estrogen). I know everything is open because I just had an SHG. We are just getting so tired of all this. As my husband said this morning, it's all just too much to bear. I just have a really empty feeling in my heart today. I will be speaking to Dr. Palter on Friday but I don't know what he will be able to tell me. Thanks again for asking! I will keep you posted and I hope you will do the same. Guest guest
Haley, I'm so sorry to hear that you're feeling so down. I can only imagine how tough it must be when your post-surgery period/status is disappointing. Perhaps it may take some time for your lining to thicken? I hope Doctor Palter is able to give you some reassurance. I am pulling for you. Take care, Terry M.
