Hi Arlene:

I have the identical problem, only on the left side. Your right - it is a

pain in the butt and sure inhibits my getting up and down and also my

walking. I lay on my back and my therapist raises my left leg to the point

I can feel the muscle and then stretches and holds it a little bit further

to stretch the muscle out. It seems to be a temporary fix as it loosens

things up for awhile. Sitting on certain chairs really aggravates the

muscle.

Take care Arlene and all.

Jo!

Hi! You might want to have your sciatica checked out - Two weeks ago I had

sciatic pain, went to my dr., had an MRI and they discovered I had three

herniated disks and will need surgery. judy smiley

I had a herniated disk (L5-S1) removed over 10 years ago. Funny no one has

suggested checking the others out, but I have a Dr. appt. Nov. 10th so will

ask about it then.

Thanks and take care.

Im taking neurontin for the first time tonight as the tizanadine and baclofen

did nothing for me what have you experienced with it GEO

Re: Sciatica

Hello Guys

Since I couldn't tolerate Baclofen, I took Neurontin - and my sciatica

disappeared.
