Guest guest
, I am so sorry to hear of your loss, we are all here for you. And you are right, we are not in control. But we can still take an active part in what we can control, so be proud of yourself for what you have accomplished. And I would like to send a hug to you from me. Take care. ^'^ Angel Elijah 4/9/2003
Guest guest
((((((())))))) I'm so sorry you are going through this. I know what you mean about knowing the cause. I know a lot of women who just don't know and the unknown can be even harder to handle. I had a molar pregnancy so I've got the added fear that it will happen again, but I try to put those feeling aside... I pray for a miracle for you every day. You are always in my thoughts my friend. Guest guest
D, It's at least good to know that your miscarriage was not caused by ashermans. I hope this will help your worries next time you get pregnant. I think this is a good point to make on your profile under your miscarriage because it will help our statistics. Can you get in touch with Ivana and let her know that your miscarriage was from an extra chromosome and not from having ashermans. her email is: marigagg@... Guest guest
I too am a Christian but any belief system could use a little " holy " help. We say grace before eating, although I have gotten away from that and intend to start doing it again only with my own sincere words. I saw a DVD the other day about a Native American Holy woman and she explained how they give thanks for all the food too. They thank the food itself, and those who grew it or raised it and the Great Spirit as provider. We can learn a lot from all cultures I think. If I stop and say a meaningful grace it will slow me down and take pause before I eat. I remember a song we used to sing about Jehovah Jira MY provider, his grace is sufficient unto me. He shall supply all MY needs according to his richness and glory. Jehovah Jira cares for ME. (sorry I don't know how to spell Jira). Thanks for reminding me of another tool I can use in my journey to IE. Sandy I know not all of you are Christians, but I read this proverb today and I thought it could provide some " food for thought " for any one dealing with Intuitive Eating: Kind words are like honey—sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.Proverbs 16:24 (New Living Translation)Positivity can do so much for our minds and our health. Sort of like how stress and worry take a toll on the body, negative food and body thoughts only set us up for failure in everything. So I thought this was good message to works as " boost " to be kind our ourselves AND others! - Casey
