Hello! My name is Rocky Currie. I am a 21 year old from sboro,

Alabama. I have Cystic Fibrosis and I am getting to the last stages

of this illness. My lungs have been greatly affected by CF causing

the need for a double lung transplant.

I am currently hospialized at the University of Alabama in

Birmingham.I get sick and have to go to the hospital every 2 weeks

for a two to three week stay at each visit. It really gets me depress

having to get sick and going to the hospital all the time.

During the spring of 2000, I was able to get listed with the

University of Alabama hospial for a lung transplant. When I get my

transplant I will have to relocate from sboro to Birmingham

(150 miles) for about 2 to 3 months. I am trying to raise money to

help me with my living arrangements in Birmingham. Help cover me for

post-transplant needs and anti-rejection medications.
