Okay, dokay,

I've added it to the links page as " Cerlage - Are you a candidate for

cerclage? "

,

I'm so glad to hear that your cerclage went well. I have been

thinking about you a lot and hoping that you were ok. I understand

completely about how burying a child changes you and I think your

feelings about this pregnancy are perfectly normal for what you have

been through. You have learned the very hard way what can happen

during pregnancy and I think you are also being protective of your

sanity right now too. I know that if I am ever pregnant, it will not

be a fun time for me. I also know that my loss took a lot out of me

and it is not something I want to ever experience again. I wish I

could be one of those people who when they find out that they are

pregnant, they worry about names and nursery colors. Please keep us

updated and I will be praying for you!

Here are a couple of websites, compliments of www.sidelines.org,

that tell you everything you need to know about cerclages. I found

these to be very helpful in preparing for my own cerclage. I had

a " rescue " cerclage at 22wks due to an incompetent cervix. You can

see the happy results of this intervention in the photos -- Sam!

rescue cerclage at 22wks due to IC, five weeks of bedrest at home

before PTL, and three weeks of hospital bedrest before unstoppable
