Remove smelly sneaker/trainers odor

Combat that odour. Simply fill knee-high stockings with unused cat litter, tie the ends and tuck them in overnight for a quick refresh. I'm thinking it wouldn't hurt to add the baby powder here too!

Another refresher for smelly sneakers is to simply take a few teaspoons of baking soda and put in the center of a cotton cloth. Tie the cloth and rubber band the edges securely creating a baking soda sachet, which you put in the shoes overnight as well. These sachets can be used over and over in any kind of shoe.

Febreeze works well on smells. They have an extra strength version out now.

Jorgi:

A few things here.. first, the sachets Terry mentioned are great. Now, for

people with foot odor problems due to sweaty feet the recommendations (a

podiatrist friend of mine spoke to me at great length about this one day and

I actually retained the info despite my best efforts!) are to wear all

cotton socks, no poly blends. You may wish to change them more than once a

day. Also, do not wear the same shoes two days in a row. Wear them one

day, put the sachets in them, wear the other pair the next day. This gives

them time to dry out and deodorize. Likewise, the kitty litter will help

dry things out and the baking soda will help to absorb the odors. Never

Never Never go without socks. This is, apparently, a good way to get toe

nail fungus for the type of person whose feet sweat.
