Most people experience this, . Remember that thirst is a sign that

dehydration has already begun, so you have to keep up on that water

consumption! It seems like we're so much thirstier b/c it takes a lot more

water to metabolize protein than it does to metabolize carbs. Our bodies

just need a lot more water. In fact, if you don't drink what you need,

you'll start to retain and actually have trouble losing weight. (I never

understood why people abuse diuretics when being dehydrated makes you hang

on to the water you have for dear life!)

Drink every bit of the 64oz + 8oz for every 25lbs you want to lose. Some

of us even drink more. (I drink a gallon a day, usually.)

You won't drown, don't worry! You might slosh a little, but that's OK. :)

,

First I just want to say welcome and glad you could join us!

As for the thirst, its quite normal! Don't worry about a thing,

just means your body is dehydrating, thus Ketosis!! Be happy and

make sure to drink ALL of your water. All 640zs + another 8ozs for

each 25pds of weight you would like to lose! Its a good thing to be

thirsty, really!!! :-)

Keep up the great work!

I drink a gallon of water a day, too! You don't even slosh for very long.

:)
