? regarding Dr Indman's billing

Hi all, I'm sorry I have not been around much lately.

I just received my bill from Dr Indman and I am surprised. The

undiscounted price is 4,800 for an in office hysterscopy. They

included 1,000 for a facility fee and 1,500 for hemoglobin labs.

They didn't do any labs that I recall. They only pricked my finger

to check the iron content. Have those of you that have hilled " in

office " hysterscopy recieved these type of charges? I am shocked

even with a out of network coverage I am still getting billed over

2,300.

When I left the office the receptionist told me I would probably not

have to pay much other than the 250 deposit I had already paid. She

said Dr Indman was provided a 50% discount on the hystercopy due to

the fact that he found minimal adhesions and I had gotten out of

network coverage.

Also, the bill did not even reflect payment of the deposit. I've

called the billing office several times and I never get a call back.

Any insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
