I too had placenta accreta, only discovered during the post-partum

D & C 6-weeks after delivery, which led to me getting Ashermans. Is

your story similar?? I understand how frightening it is..

How did they stop your bleeding? I got transferred to another

hospital for an embolisation of the arteries, which thankfully didn't

have to be done as the bleeding stopped of its own accord (the first

hospital couldn't do this procedure - only a hysterectomy if I'd

carried on bleeding!).

I'd also be interested to know if anyone has given birth after

placent accreta? and what happened?

The OB just told me it shouldn't put me off another pregnancy (this

was before she knew I had AS).. but I don't know much more than

that..

Can any of you ladies out there help?
