Guest guest
! Great news, congratulations. Dr. I will be a great resource to you those first 8 weeks when you do conceive, I know that he was great with me, we're lucky to have him! Take good care, see you next week? Guest guest
, This is awesome news, and good for you to enjoy that sense of relief. For everything that all of us have been through, we all deserve some feeling of relief and enjoyment. Hopefully you can also feel some enjoyment after you conceive, but I can understand the potential to be a nervous wreck. I'm not even sure at this point if we will ttc (because of the previous accreta) but I did start searching for a new ob/gyn just in case. (meanwhile Roxie and I wait for that darn equipment to arrive at Dr. Olive's!!!!) I wanted to try to find someone knowledgeable about AS complications and accreta. I'll keep you posted if I find out more about the potential for another accreta. Take care, Vicki P.S., I also learned about my accreta after requesting and reading my medical records. Hmmmm.... seems like something we should have been told!!!!
Guest guest
B, What great news!!! I'm so glad you will be able to TTC when planned not having to wait on your body. Are you having good periods?

Guest guest
B., That is such fantastic news! I'm glad you have the green light to ttc. One thought: If you're not planning to ttc until the fall anyway, maybe Dr. Isaacson would do an HSG sometime during the summer to make absolutely sure that no more scarring has formed? Since he mentioned it did happen to one woman. And also since the consensus among the A-list doctors seems to be that scarring can form for up to 6-8 weeks after surgery. Maybe I'm too much of a worrier, but I think most OB/GYN/REs (even the A-listers) tend to be very optimistic, which is great unless you are the one person who happens to be the exception to what they usually see. I think all the A-list doctors are excellent but it's still a good idea to be cautious. G.
Guest guest
Hi , I am sorry for not responding to your earlier postings (when you had your surgery). I do think of you. I am so happy that your surgery went well and you are 10% scarred and have the green light to conceive. This is such good news! Dr. I is wonderful! Now you can enjoy the spring and summer with your family and then ttc in the fall. When you get pregnant, I will be here for you and will be happy to share my experience with you. Take care and hope to see you Thursday at the Boston AS meeting!
