Guest guest
Hi Rima... I am Amber (also 27 yrs old). I discovered I had an ectopic earlier this month. It was devastating, as dh and I have been ttc for over a year now! I was told to wait 2 months, although I had the shot of methotrexate, instead of the surgery. I know what you mean about being scared of another ectopic. Your dr may choose to do an HSG, where they give you an x-ray while they shoot dye through your tubes, to ensure they are open. I had this done in October, although my RE hasn't mentioned doing it again since the ectopic. My RE says if you have had one ectopic, you have a 15% chance of having a second one. I have read statistics of up to 30%. These numbers seem so high to me... Good luck to you! Guest guest
Hi Rima, I am sorry for your loss. It is such a emotional nightmare. I had ep Dec. 00 and lost my rt tube. Did your dr mention getting a hsg? (where they run dye through tube to see if there are are blockages) it is not a 100% answer but many women do get one to at least rule it out. I am not sure of the exact chances of having another ep, seems like there are alot of different #s thrown out there. I do know that I found alot of hope, encouragement and knowledge here and I hope you do to. These girls here are angels. I would not of made it threw this without them. I would of went insane. I really had no hope for the future until I found this fantastic group. Again, I am sorry for your loss. Please take care and feel free to ask anything. Guest guest
Hi , I do have the questions list and pretty thouroghly covered them in my initial visit. She seemed to have all the right answers, without hesitation. I have however set up another appt with a RE from Beaumont Hospital, for a second opinion. Pain...seems to be less without the Clomid. Right now I am waiting to ovulate and on Tuesday had a 18mm and 13.5 mm follie waiting to pop, that was three days ago, and they just dont seem to want to come out this month! Periods..Clomid made them much heavier and very clotty, probably the result of chemical pregnancies. Normally they are short, but still very painful and clotty. Hopefully once these eggies get out the pain will subside for a while, plus I am still crampy and spotting from the SHG on Tuesday. I is nice to meet you, I will write back later. > , > > I hope you find much valuable information within this group. Guest guest
, Don't feel bad about being a crier. I cried for weeks after my diagnosis. It does get better. Be very cautious about purchasing substitute foods for your favorites. They don't always taste the same and then you are disapponted.....not to mention the extra wasted cost. Start your diet with very simple unprocessed foods and slowly try some gluten-free products. Hopefully, you will feel much better soon. That takes time also, but stick it out. Best of luck.
